Still checking info on Hristenko, the temporary prime-minister. Looks like looser.
The most obvious candidate for prime-minister position is Alexander Ivanov, currently a defence minister.
It was obvious that Putin will get rid of Kasyanov and gang, people left to him by Yeltsin's "family" of crooks. I expected that it could happen in a matter of weeks after the elections, but Putin made this move earlier. Looks like he is self-assured now and noone can stop him. He will be elected 100%.
I am afraid we will start to tighten up the screws, there were enough signs before. I mean things that you'll never see in Western press.
Shooting some of that crooks in the government and administration is a good idea, but, unfortunately, it's not new.
