That rearend is WAY out of alignment.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

It's gotta have more cowbell.

One of the greatest sketches of all time.  Christopher Walken and Will Farrell in the same sketch always equals hilarity.

Honestly?

That's awful.

There's echos all over the background, the car has a weird border to it where it doesnt meet the bachground correctly, the back end is completely out of whack, the shadows are wrong, the shading is wrong, the wheel arches look raggedy, the extra bits on the car look drawn on and why do you have two lens flares?

No, you've got it all wrong.  The flare on the right is the reflection from the Spirit rover.

The hand painted rear fenders are really obvious.  Instead of trying to match the color and just paint it, consider using the clone brush/matching tool so it keeps the 'texture' of the paint.

The windows you added look nice, good use of gradient to simulate glossy window.  Same with the new side mirror.

The two lens flares are really silly.  Even one lense flare it considered cliched now, fyi.

There is no shadow beneath the car.  You can do a shadow using a 'darken' tool.  Don't try to draw the shadow using a paint color, it won't work with the ground you have it on.

For all the speed holes you put on the car (behind the front fender, on the running board, etc), consider using a darken tool instead of a solid color.  The solid color really stands out as painted on.

If you have to have those black speedholes on the front bumper, consider softening them slightly so the edges aren't as sharp.

One thing that helps with the texture mismatch is adding noise after you're done. Set it to "Uniform" and "monochromatic" - mess about with the percentage scale to suit. This would also help match the car to the background more too.

For the car cut and paste onto the background do it large, and add a couple of pixels of feather to it. Avoids a lot of the jaggies without the painstaking eraserwork.

If you're mildly serious about it, splashing out on a Wacom Graphire Pad is a smart move for photo retouch work, they retail for about $50-65 US out here - last time I looked.
