I think having mentors and people to look up to besides sports stars would help.

You know someone to help these kids with there self worth and help them to understand what they can do with a good education.

And maybe get the parents more involved as well.

I sure am glad I know you guys are joking.

Sad stat, probably due in large part to the failure of the family unit in Black families, especially black fathers. Too many one parent homes.

This was the main reason for the million man march.

I was a mentor for a black kid when I was racing moto-cross.
Got him invloved with it and he did very well.
Also his grades picked up to wich was good cause he was bright
just noone took the time to work with him.
