Good one udie...I would sit and study Chet Atkins and les paul for
hours wondering how the hell they could get those thumb and finger picks to work so perfectly. Finally gave up, went to a straight pick, said the hell with it and played rock and roll. There are still a few chet atkin tunes I can fake.

I own a studio lite. Cant stand the weight of the standards. Plays just the same ,but I've replaced the bridge pick to a Seymour Duncan. Also Own and all orginal '68 Fender Mustang.. best action ever on a guitar.

lol I had a '65 Fender Mustang bass :D I sold it to my best friend about 12 years ago and he still has it! with the same strings! :D talk about flat...

 And it had the best action of any bass I ever owned, though it was a short neck so  I could never get the intonation to stick :(

He's lookin for a Les Paul type guitar..Nothing beats Hamer for the money..I have 3(TV Special W P59's,Daytona(Strat) and Cruise Bass)

I traded in a Gibson 335 Dot and got two new Hamers...Better quality than Fender I might add...The Daytone is much nicer than the 57 re-issue strat I paid big $$$ for.

Acoustic: Martin..  Taylor

(with a Fender...USA made only.. ignore the rest)


hard to go wrong either way.

NOTHING else if you only have one guitar.

amps.. depends on what tone you want and where you play.
(small clubs, studio, outdoors, etc)

Did you heard the Holy Barbarian  ?.

The worst I've done was to buy a Buffy the Vampire slayer sound track to have Zap city :D

add to the worst the soundtrack of small soldier :rolleyes:

Ya got everything and seen em countless times, I'm a junkie. 1st show I saw of them was when they opened for Billy Idol back in the early 80s.  Even got to meet Ian on the Holy Barbarians tour here in Sac. Was able to see the last Cult show at the Filmore too.

I assume you bought the Cool World soundtrack too for "The Witch"?

They released a limited box set that has all the misc. tracks in one set.
