Eagler, a question about your x45 AH profile?
« on: February 27, 2004, 03:27:33 PM »
I wanted to try your profile, but when I load it and hit "profile now" then try to run AH, wierd things start happening on the desktop. How can I be sure the profile is in place only for AH, and not when I'm at the desktop?

Edit: Sorry, Right after I posted this I tried it again and it worked fine. Maybe I had the AUX or Mode switch set wrong - I dunno.

its probably the rotors, it happens to me when they are not centered. the rotors acting as trim so when they are not in the center notch they continually send out the keystroke for that particular trim command.

same thing happens when you try to chat on ch in the game, you may end up getting abunch of kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkllllllll llllllllllllll or such in your text message

The changes in the new software left a few things out that were useful, one being the "latched shift" where  you did not have to hold the shift button in the entire time to shift modes.  I also never had a problem with the AUX like you discribed.  The ealier software you could use all 3 AUX position without the problem when bring up a chat screen.

my shift is used as single function = wep - so I don't know about the latched thingy

my AUX works fine, it is the rotors which throw the commands in the chat window or mess with ur desktop if out of AH and profile still enabled (like holding down a keyboard key) if the rotors are not centered in the "no command" position
