On the whole, this is a big improvement. The sun is no longer like we're on Mercury instead of Earth. This makes the whole world look much better IMHO. At the same time, however, shadows are way exaggerated. In the tower, I can hardly read the clock at gamma 1 because of the shadow of the roof. Airplanes have what IMHO is the right amount of light on the sunny side, but are nearly pitch black on all other surfaces, even those at only a slight angle to the sun.
So at the bottom line, I think the light is great but the shade is way too dark.
