The exhaust stacks for the Tempest are in the wrong place--too far back. This carried over from AH1, BTW.
Simply put, when the Typhoon model got turned into the Tempest, the nose got stretched but the exhaust pipes weren't moved. The Tempest's exhausts should be the same distance behind the spinner as on the Tyhpoon, due to having the same engine and a fuel tank in the fuselage between the cockpit and the engine.
