About done with the natural metal look for the p47...figured I'd try it. This is only panels / lines / rivets....no externals have been drawn in or access hatches. No weathering - just the pure metal base. Also / panellines / rivets haven't been "adjusted" yet

GREAT "metallic" look.

i have to agree with the other thread though....

rivets are getting a bit out of hand. almost to the point they'd be distracting while flying.

just my opinion


btw look at this pic for rivets:


thats not too far away and you can not really see them.

again just my opinion

The pov on the P-47 is much closer, and I like the way it looks.

NICE!!!! didn't know you could do 1024x 1024 in ah1.  

This will be very useful when doing aircraft such as the lightning.

How do you add such a skin to AH1?  I've worked on an F4u1 skin, and would like to give it a test run!

You jave to build a small map and save the textures you replace in a "textsrc" folder....after that, you need to build the map then save the built .res file in your ah1 terrains directory. Go offline - load the map and see how the skin is fitting.

If HT flies with this P-51 skin in Aces High 2 (and only he can use this), it would be nice... :D
