Sort of gives me a craving for an Ishak ... or some more bombers ...  Took me 3 years to get a skuka ... I wonder .

That climb-rate is pretty crappy on the P47N.  P-51H seems like a much better plane.

The crappy climb rate is for a fully loaded P47N carrying over 3000lbs of fuel internally. That gives it better range than a P51. In the MA most would take much less than full fuel and climb would be better.

The 152 pulls those numbers well over 40k. :)

We already had 2 P40s 3 P47s and 2 P51s.... What I would like to see is another P38. A P38J would be nice... or a F model to add to the early war scenarios.

Bah, most people misuse the Jug as it is already. Rarely do people fly over 3ok, and jugs are the flying bomb suicide killers in this arena, unfortunately.

As much as I like the Jug, and the P40, we need better pilots to fly the rides we already have before adding more misused ones (except for the Ki-84... )
