Author Topic: HTC, If skinners create a "default" skin, would it be accepted? (Read 595 times)

Since HTC is busy adding the planes first, and sorting out skins later, some of the default skins for the newly introduced planes seem to be lacking a lot.

If skinners clean the image and enhance the detail of the original paint scheme used for default, would it be accpeted?

For instance, the hastily introduced Bf109G-6 uses the wing texture of the Bf109G-10. The Typhoon and the Hurricane uses the old 256x256 textures for 'default'.

If we correct the Bf109G-6 wings, enhance the detail, bring up the resolution level of the 'phoon and the Hurri, but use the original paint scheme used for AH, is there a chance it may be used as a 'default' scheme?

as long as the pilot is barbie...i dont want ken (wait its billy or something stupid like that now) ruining a perfectly good feminine plane...if i wanted a "masculine" plane id fly a typhoon or p-38...

Apart from the $100'000'000 copyright lawsuit Mattel would launch against HTC, I'd say go for it.

I bet you could talk Mattel in to permission to use it (Free advertising hint hint)
