I find it funny that someone needs to generate  a "new" BBS identity to say something, that they apparently don't want to be known for.

Roscoro , like i said, name a business that will treat a customer in this manner once they have been insulted or confronted in anyway. Perhaps you should go reread my response before making assumptions. Just break it into syllables. There you go. Now find that verb. Okay, now look for the noun. No, the noun. There ya go. I own a business, and if your first crack at trying to solve a mixup or error (on either part) was to insult and abuse me or my staff, I would tell you to take your hard earned $$ elsewhere. IE i dont want/need your money.

Perhaps the foolish remark wasnt nessesary, but your trying to defend someone's bad call .

In my Job I'm in a Very Select group of people that do what I do .
I have no problem telling Customers to go elsewere .

I give my customers 150% when I do a job for them and many extra miles . But show me disrespect ,"Rub my Rubarb the wrong way" And I will tell anyone to get lost .I have done it befor and I'm shure i will have to do it again.

Perhaps someday I'll toss up some pic's and watch everyone drool .

You feel they're in the wrong because they didn't just lie down and take his insults?  The customer isn't always right, and this is one situation where that applies.

Pretty funny all the ghost accounts. As if that makes a difference and nobody's the wiser.

The internet cracks me up. This bbs is almost as entertaining as the game itself.

I vote they do have good customer service. I've had one problem when I ran two puters through one linksys and got a crazy echo on vox. While Skuzzy didn't fix it for me, he put me on the right track and I fixed it myself ( something about NAT translation tables, downloded new drivers into the box and it worked perfectly) and learned something in the process.

The suggestions to get framerates up were helpful and I was successful at that as well.

I think I hear someone coming with a chain and lock for this thread as well.:)

No, just a different reply than a direct insult. By 2 staff members, then 3. Whatever happened to "being the bigger man".  

When someone says, "your a stupid head". Do you often respond with "nu uh, your a bigger stupid head"?

It ain't rocket science, Kidd. If you like the product, you buy it, if not you don't. I came here for one reason - the person/people behind the company. Although I've never made it to a con, I've had the pleasure to play WWII sims with these people. My first kill *ever*  in AW came when HT dove in to bail me out. I was so excited, I turned tail and headed to base to land my kill. Then I see the text "25xx: NO BUGGING,TB!" (no name just tail numbers).

Anyway, the people behind the game aren't suits - they're players who were isnspired by games they played, and a desire to make them better. You're not going to find that many places. Thats not brown nosing, its a simple fact. They do a good job, and $15 a month is an EXCELLENT price for what you get. Thats a whole bunch of stuff to dismiss instead of having the guts to say "I was offbase - I shouldn't have said that."

First off, i am not n8. So i have nothing to apologize or admit assuming he was wrong, which i don't think he was. An upset customer can say whatever the hell he wants. I am only debating the way the staff initially handled the situation. Thats it.

I hear tons of stuff about this staff being awesome. but my first encounters with them hardly leave me with a high opinion of them. I have close friends who say some staff such as Skuzzy are very awesome. Yet, on ch1 when i make a humerous comment "Skuzzy, i will pay $10 /mo extra for no ho's.", since I guess i was unknown to him, all i got was a sarcastic bellybutton response. So you can see how i personally have had negative after negative with this staff.

I hardly care, but as long as I'm being talked about, I will respond. It is my right. It is for me, like many of you, a bit of humor in my life.

There's a clue here. So what does one get for saying the staff is awsome - extra bullets? a free month? better SA? An HTC hat?

Nada.

People say that because that's their experience. If anyone else's if different, they need to examine what separates their situation from the "tons" of good experiences.

And Kidd, I've met you in game and it seems like you take a joke well. Once you accuse me of HO, and a few missions later I accuse you of being a HO dweeb - of course you were in a flak at the time :D

Why adopt this cause? HTC really seems to want to provide solid entertainment.

I don't make sarcastic bellybutton remarks.  I have a sense of humor.  Most people know it well.  If you make a comment in jest, I am just as apt to give back jest.
Online, I like to keep it relaxed.

I apologize if you took anything I have ever said online as some smart remark.  I can absolutely assure you I never mean to sound like that at all.

There are times I am short with answers, but that is only due to making every attempt I can to answer every question asked of me.

I will also say that if you choose to show me disrespect, do not expect me to show you respect.  I will not.  It's a two way street.  Saying that we should take disrespect with a smile is wrong.  We are people too.  No where in our policies does it say, "you pay for the right to abuse us".
We ask everyone to be respectful of each other.  We would be hypocritical to allow anyone to disrespect us.
