Unfortunately, AH appears to have had to develop some debatedly inferior alternatives of those origianted in WBs simply for the sake of not being too similar.

RPS being one of these.  Multi-gunners, another.

I doubt that explanation.  There are some good technical reasons for it being more difficult to do when you increase the minimum data rate between host and client.
