.50s are illegal in CA? Even bolt action single-shot? I lived in Cali up until just a few months ago and was not aware--albeit it perhaps I never bothered to research the question.

I am not sure that this point, I have not heard, but yea some ******* was trying to ban all .50 cal weapons from the desert eagle to the all the .50BMG rifles.


They are used in crimes all the time, didnt you know???

Any .50 cal weapon (doesn't matter what kind) Is illegal in California.



Everyone knows that those dirt poor criminals can afford to buy 10k dollar gun with 1 dollar per round ammo.

And If uncle teddy kenedy has his way "sniper rifles" will be illigal too!

You already cant advertise them as sniper weapons anymore.
They have to be called tactical weapons.

And all a "sniper" rifle is  is a accurized hunting rifle.
So what does that tell ya ? maybe hunting rifles are next?

 Brady bill may have, and I have no problems with background checks or wait periods.

Just about every anti gun bull**** law in Cali came from a Dem crook named Perada.

I'm not deffending the Dem stance on gun control.  the point I was making is that the republicans are no more pro-gun than the dems.

if one party takes a stance on an issue the other automaticly decides to take the opposing stance (publicly), I can't think of a single issue where they agree.

but all the lip-service asside, rich republican politicians don't want guns in the hands of your average american, anymore than the dems do.
