I am tired of all you idiots bashing Luftwaffe for being Nazi or the Allies for being Evil or the VVS for being murderers etcera.
Fly the game for the aircraft, not the regieme behindthem. Lots of you guys wont fly german or american or whatever aircraft because of the nation that made them. Well, that is stupid. I fly all countries aircraft, because I love aircraft. If you want to push a political philosophy, go somewhere else. I am an american, and if I was gonna fly in WW2 (thank god I didn't have to) I would have flown for the allies of course! But this is a game, and in peace time, you telling me you wouldn't want to take a ride in a Me109 if you had the chance!?
Seems to me we all have a love of aircraft, and for me that love spans country and political philosophy. I am an engineering student and I love all the aircraft because, well, I love airplanes! To me it does not matter whether the engineer who built that machine lived in germany or japan or the US or britain, thats where he was born, so thats where he designed them, and they are all IMHO works of art.
So cut out the political bullsh*t. We don't need it.
If you think about it, it is kind of a (much less serious) form of racism: FW-190 you are a marvelous aircraft, but your designer was born in germany instead of US so you are a piece of crap etcera. Obviously not the same as people, but in the same vein.
