I have pretty much all the problems described above and one more.

I have problems distinguishing if the plane is flying directly at me or directly away, when it is in the range of d300 to d800.  I usually find out when I see tracers coming my way.

Addtitionally, I often see what I feel is the strobe effect of the propeller eroding a displayed image of a plane.

My only suggestion is to bump the resolution down to 800x600.  The planes appear a little more "Globly" at farther ranges, but they are easier to see IMO.

Don`t forget to mail me your hardware spescs/configuration Ram.I`m pretty good with this kind of stuff and might be able to help with your (gamma?) problem. The same goes for anyone flying AH-if I can help you out with these kinds of problems don`t hesitate to ask.I`m also color deficient in red and green and I know what a handicap it can be-not only in Aces High but in the real world too. It`s the reason I no longer am able to perform the job I spent the last 15 yrs of my life learning/performing.First as an Apprentice and then as a Journeyman Operator of multi-color high speed offset printing presses. So I find myself at 38 yrs of age retraining myself in web design/graphics hoping for a break.
