Well I have a serious problem, and I don't know if its a feature of the game or is my computer's settings...

I have SERIOUS problems to see enemy A/C when they have land after them...Many times I am 300 yds after a con, firing blindly where I "suppose" the aircraft to be (using the icon as reference). I suppose this doesn't happen to you,guys because you are asking for the icons disbled at low ranges...

I've tried different colour settings on windows setup, I've changed Gamma settings and colour calibration for no change at all...Is there any Gamma control inside the game? if it is...where?...if not...what can I do????

Please help me this is a serious problem to me...I shooot bad by myself, let alone firing blind

Are you talking about lag, Ram? Or are you talking about seeing a con that's blending in with the ground terrain? Not quite sure I follow ya.

Im talking about that I cant see the con because I cant see the color difference...I have lag problems also but I guess that is more difficult to change  

When a badit is lower than me I cant see it, so I always try to go a little lower than him and try to see it against the sky...but against the land i simply dont see anything!!...colour blending?...well i dont know how to say it in english...

I have the Same problem, RAM, but for me it has nothing to do with "Colour blending"..it's just that I'm colourblind  
It is particularly tough when it's 205 or a Nikki above Green/brown ground....and I do as you do, I uualy have to get underneath the Con to get a clear shot at him...

For me a low level Niki is simply invisible. I CANT see it  (((

yesterday I was in a Niki's 6 for near 2 or 3 minutes, and I only could see its Icon!!!!!...I spended all 20mm ammo on it and I only pinged it twice...500 rouns two pings...   well I managed to kill it with the 13mm   but that is s***t when you are in the middle of a furball and you have no cannons!!!!!

Please I NEED HELP!

Ah, yes, I have a problem with Nikki's too.  Maybe HTC needs to add a white skin panel to the rudder or something so it will reflect alittle more...

My problem is that the niki for me is INVISIBLE...and all the rest of planes (except P51  ) are BARELY visible for me...

I have too much dark view...is there any solution?

I have the same problem too   . Not only whit Niki or 205.
I'd like to use custom terrain files, like  EAW ( winter or desert terrain is fine  ).

I agree with Mighty1 , but I have found that when I go up against another nik on the deck I can normally see him fairly well inside 400 yards.

Well you are lucky...yesterday I was at less that 100 yds and I could see NOTHING of the niki

I have to agree .. on my system AH is awfully dark .. but i can't change the gamma correction .. i have the screen at full brightness and still have a very hard time seeing those well camoflagued bogies..

Oh mighty lord of the Arena who makes thy clouds drift in any direction please give us ADJUSTABLE Gamma correction!!

I have a different problem, it is especially pronounced when a con is flying towards me in a Ho.
Seems the AC will disappear from d12 to about d7 and I have to rely on icon.
I just see a few black erroneous dots until the AC’s contours reappear.
Stick the terrain behind that and camouflage, I can't see a thing.

One more thing that I dislike is the in the use of a line instead of a dot. This for me makes it hard to tell Ac orientation with the line extending past the AC’s outline when they blend. From D 1.4 – D 2.4, I see black dots sometimes under, above or to the side of enemy AC.
I often mistake these dots for wings misjudging AC path.

Ditto Torque.  I'm not sure if it's all planes or not but there is this brief moment when I could swear all planes disappear on me. Maybe when they go from a rough plane shape to the hi res plane form?.
 I track the icon at those times and or shoot below it when it comes closer. If my memory is good I'd say it occurs between 400-660 in range. And always against the ground.
 I've stared and I swear the plane is gone. Till the range decreases and then it's solid
and defined.
 Not sure if the zoom feature would offset this or not. In other words I wonder if I could zoom in on the aircraft and see it where as in the default (home) front view the aircraft I could not.
