Girl after borne killing, or selling for prostitution, was common use before the communist regime.
Yet the one-child law was a try to reduce overpopulation, not for sure for enforce the millenary use to kill the newborn girls.
Jumping to the conclusion that this law is the only cause of the female child abortion is too much a twist for your personal anti commie agenda.
There are many other things that can be correctly blamed on the commies without recurring to this that is actively opposed by the government (or better, regime).
