What is the basic breakdown of the teams?  Is there any particular team that needs more help than others.  Are there any peace treatys in effect between any groups?

I flew last night for the first time (been 5 years since I flew on AirWarrior) and managed to get a kill...felt good.

Just wondering what the breakdown is for this war.

It's kind of like it was in AWFR.

Bishops are like the Az were, they like to milkrun undefended bases, pork and auger habitually, and generally battle buildings more than anything else. In the face of a contested fight Bishops tend to just quit and go find an undefended base on the other side of the map to milkrun.

Rooks are ALOT like Bz were in AWFR. They generally don't care alot about the land grab game, they will take a furball over a base capture every time and generally look to kill stuff in fighters first and foremost.

Knights are kind of a blend of the two like Cz in AWFR, probably leaning more toward the Rook end of the spectrum in terms of their affinity toward air combat vs. building battling. Knights are noted for a lack of teamwork relative to the other two which probably accounts for their generally lower numbers.

This is a gross generalization of course but it will give you a general idea of the 'feel' of each country, I play on all three.

As far as alliances and such, there are none. Generally speaking Rooks OWN Sundays, so get tag teamed then. Bishops usually have numbers every other time except the peak US prime time hours (8pm to 10pm CST), so are usually the flavor of choice during that period. Lately Knights have been lowest in numbers almost 24/7 except possibly West coast US prime time when they have a slight advantage.

If you enjoy milkrunning and pork and augering I'd join Bishops. If you enjoy fighter combat more than anything I'd join Rooks. If you like helping the underdog team I'd join Knights. My recommendation to you is to try all three while you are learning and you will soon find where you fit in best.

My breakdown of the countries differ to yours zazen.

I don't believe i've ever seen you play as bish zazen, not even once.

From my view ALL countries have the same prob with the land grab thing.  The amount of all green or all red sectors is alarming sometimes.

IMO bish love to furball more the most and seem to have no fear of getting shotdown.

Rooks are the most timid and usually wont engage unless they have alt + numbers.

Knits are more like the bish than rooks.  Knits numbers are suffering at the moment.

I play as Bish almost everday, just not with my Zazen account, I prefer to be anonymous during filming runs on people. I have some interesting filming projects ongoing in Bishland for my library.

Rasmuth don't get them started. ;)

If you don't know what side to pick, try them all.

Eventually people will start to grow on ya like fungus and you'll want to stick around.

As far as needing help, just logon and look at the numbers..the one with the least number of players probably needs the most help.

there are no treaties, we all cluster in the same hopeless ways :D

you will probably see some old buds from AW in here that you might want to fly with again.

As a former Bish (that's where I started) I'd say that bish don't love it, they just find themselves in it a lot! I'd also say that Bish support each other in furballs the best with lotsa communication. I'd have to say Fish323 is one of the best furballers over there.

no matter which side you fly, red suxxors and green suxxors slightly less.

the break down:

basically it's nits and rooks vs bish

until sunday night when rooks alone outnumber both bish and nits... then it's more of a ffa, which of course the rooks have the advantage in.

All of this comes to an end when one country gets down to 10 bases... then it's gangbang time ont hat country to get a reset.

That's bascially the way it all breaks down.
