Liquid soap works great, I've never had fogging problems using it.

Diluted tearless baby shampoo works extremely well as a defog.

for some reason spit doesn't seem to work as well for me on land as it does diving (and it's not great then).

I always use liquid soap.

Advice?  Try not to get shot.

Oh!  Defogging!

Spit in it.  Always seems to work and is always ready to be used.

I did, but the unholy power of my amazing testicles reflected the shot back and caught the guy in the face.

Thanks for the advice, all.  I had a blast this time, and had NO fogups whatsoever.  In the end we went with liquid soap, and while the weather helped combat fogging, others still had problems while we were having none.

I got hit on the end of my ding ding once at close range.  Had difficulty speaking for a several seconds, it hurt so bad.

Was a very peculiar shade of purple/green for a while.

Wear a cup.  :)

I took one in the throat from about 10 feet once.  I hit the ground so hard the ref ran over to see if I was ok.  I was rolling around making all kinds of God-awful noises, so couldn't reply beyond making funny gurgles and gasps.  They had a first-aid guy there before I could talk again -- they thought I'd impaled myself on a stump.

The *******s at school made fun of my "hicky" for weeks.

Lol Tarmac.  You can bet I wear a cup now.  I play about every other weekend here until it gets too hot.  Of course, I haven't been hit in the cup .... but you know if I took it off....

Those Rambo types is what turned me off to the whole game.  One guy had his gun turned up so hot he actually blew a hole in the side of the hopper on my gun and gave me a bruise on the left knee that lasted over a month.  Next time I went out I watched a "team"  practice and listened to some guy scream obcenities at a 13 year old kid because he wasn't doing it right apparently.  Completely took the fun out of the whole thing for me.

Not a fix if you don't have your own mask but I got an insert called "combat vision" I think it was.  Was basically a lens with adhesive on the edge and a no-fog coating on it that you stuck to the inside of your mask.  Ran me about $20 a think and I never had a problem with fogging.

The most fun I ever had paintballing was actually my first trip and we found a field that was doing a pump-gun only day.  It was so much fun.  We borrowed some old sheridan, (I think that's what the they were)  and went to town, was great.   All the big rambo types walking around looking like a bunch of cyborgs with tubes running all over ruined it.  I dunno if I'll play again unless I find a field that runs stock class or pumpgun days.

Engine, wear loose fitting clothes with as many layers as you can stand to wear. Most rules allow you to continue to play as long as the paintball doesn't explode when it hits you and the loose clothes cushion it increasing your chances.

Good luck and remember concealment is your friend but cover is your lover.
