Just a note to let ya know that work is underway on this year's Rumble.

The best part is.... this is a knock down drag out REMATCH.

That's right... Hangtime and Hristo are back and have signed on to duke it out once again... and to lead you poor SOBS to the thrill of victory or the agony of humiliation.

This event will be formally announced shortly with registration opening, and the event itself likely to occur sometime next month.

Save the poetry readings, tupperware parties etc. for the MA (or wherever). This is a Rumble. You know... bike racks, 3:30.

Is this a redo of the 10 v 10 duel in 190s and 51s?  Last time I flew for the 190s when I was flying the A5 alot.

Now that my darling is back with the unneutered guns, Im flying Allies in my 51!

Suh- WEEET.

I'll let the experts fly, but I'll be around for this.  Maybe as a flying ref if you need one.. or four.  

Heh.. should this one go well, we'll have to arrange a P-47 vs. FW-A rumble.  That would be cool.  D11 vs. A5 or D-30 vs. A8?

Ok Hristo.. some points I wanna get across now, and then we can move on to the main event...

The ROE arrangements will NOT be handled by us.  

The event organization, ROE and it's results will be arranged and judged by observer CM's and their judgement is BINDING.. i.e. if they give us a wave off and re-fly; we do it; no arguments.

We're doing this for FUN... and the edification of our respective crews. Neither of us will allow our personal disregard for the other to color (too much) the tone of the event, and we will keep this on a higher level than we (meaning I) allowed the original to get too.

....and regardless of the results; you and I, 1 v 1 one more time. For old times sake.   Dora v P51D, best of 5; co-alt, guns cold merge; 15k.

Agreed?

Heya Hang,

I've been hashing out the plane selection with Hristo over the last 2 days, and I will then take the proposals and get your stamp of approval or modifications (will possibly even be sending this to you tonight). I will then send this back to Hristo for any other modifications etc. It's going very smoothly though and I don't anticipate any problems here.

It's just easier this way 'cause I know you two like to fight  

Hristo's has some great suggestions... I think you'll like what's being put together. My goal is to get as many different plane choices as possible for folks, and to my suprise Hristo has been very accomodating about this, even if he's not 100% happy about it  

As far as the ROE, I'll be sending you two this aswell... It will be simple, fair, and the outcome indesputable. It's based on some good discussions I had with Lephturn and Kieren last year about the 2nd Rumble. In essence, the KISS principal.

This is shaping up to be a best of three match, with differing plane choices for each of the matches. Early War, Mixed (Navy, Soviet, Japanes, etc.), and Late War (including perks). There will be at least 3 plane choices for each side, for each of the 3 matches. Roughly 18 different planes here, so that should please most folks.

I aiming to host this in the DA... however if I can coordinate with the CMs (banana, I'll be writing you tonight) that would be optimal as we can can control the enabling/disabling of the planes that way, as well as make use of some other features that might help this run more smoothly.

Uhm... that's all I can think of for now.
