Hmmm, if you're indicating that the 4 barrels are for H-Oing F4U-1C's, i think those are .303's, not 20mms.

I don't know what that big cannon is, but you'd never be able to kill an uber ack with it. Still, what a buff-killer/vulch-wagon this would be.

I don't think so Dotsie. And I don't know what the guns are for sure, but almost positive indeed they are .303's. They just look meaner than hell! However, the FB.VI had 4 X .20mm Hispano cannon, AND 4 X .303machine guns but the cannon were belly mounted on certian varients.

Actually, Im no expert on the aircraft, just enjoyed trying some photoshop work like dudes are doing and it would be neat to have a fast attack/fighter because there aren't many, that's all.

Korea sure was a great sim, only 4 players online though. Still, great for it's time. I always thought Aces High had similar smooth graphics and online play. REAL similar. Glad to see you’re into Aces High. Now I'll I have to do is get the 20 or so other Hornet/Falcon guys from our old squad. There were some great sim pilots there. Having them here would be awesome and a huge boost of talent for someone’s side.

The picture is by Wantabe, the cannon is a 57mm (6pdr) molins gun. This antiship variant of the Mossie was called the Tse-Tse
it was appernently found to be inferior to the 8 rocket load out so fat chace with the uber acks...

The nose guns are the 303s and the belly gun is a 6pdr anti-tank gun with an autoloading mechanism by Mollins. Only about 20 MK XVIIIs were made, originaly intended to attack U-Boats. They carried 25 rounds for the 6pdr.

Still, mobile ack would be blasted by this plane, and I think that's what's coming. If not that, at least P-51's couldn't "runstang" outta town, although I have had 5-0 success against the "silver pony" in a 205 in the last 2 days so it really don't matter!:0)

As far as that huge gun goes, I have no idea. Might be a ship killer as Pongo says...good lord. It would do it. Chutes and B-17 beware that mayhem.
