Well that goofy bastard that was taking shots at passing cars in southern Columbus has been captured in Vegas.  This numbnut was a graduate of Grove City HS in 1994.  My mother is a teacher in the South Western City School District and knows several teachers who had taught this guy.  Kind of strange for them, they were living in caution (not fear) from this guy and it was one of their former students.

Anyways...The father cracked the case open by turning in the weapons and not long after they were a ballistics match to the gun that killed the older lady, the only person to die in the spree.

Feed him to the skin eating bacteria.

LOL.. Yesterday my wife said "That guy should run to Vegas, they'd never find him there."

Thankfully they finally caught the bastard.  I wonder how much longer he would have been unidentified if the father had not turned in the suspects weapons to have them tested.

I see that the family has declared him as "mentally unstable" in preparations of what is surely going to be an insanity defense.

Either give him the death penalty, or life w/o parole...we have a precedent for this kind of rogue shooter stuff. Skip the trial and go right to sentencing.

Maybe Mickey. OTOH some people would not have come forth with the weapons at all, but tried to keep their son from getting arrested.

Edit: Although it seems only common sense to reasonable people, I think the father did a "stand up" thing.

Of course he's mentally unstable, normal people don't go around shooting off rifles with the intent of killing random strangers.  Trial, conviction, bullet to the head.
