I'd just like to see an explaination as to why Night Time was taken out?  No whines from the peanut galary... an actual explaination used by HiTech or the staff or whoever got together and made the decision.

Yeah Toad, I;ve seen that... it's not much of an explaination.  Kinda a pointless, sarcastic, 'I did it because I can' reason if you want my opinion.

Just wanting to know the thought process that was put forth before making the decision.  Or if THAT was the only reason.

I think that is the reason.

HT isn't going to make a doctoral dissertation out of this decision.

In the beginning, there was no night. Then folks cried for night. They got it. Other folks cried to change it back to all day. Now other folks are crying to get night back.

I think HT just figures it's good to share.  ;)

Night will come back at some time. How long was it in? Maybe the cycle time will be standard.

I'm not upset a bit. I suffered through night during Prime Time when that was the only time I had to play many, many times and for quite a long period of the game overall.

Now some folks can suffer through the outrage of daylight for a similar period. They should feel free to complain as we night-haters did, and as the night proponents did so long ago to get night.

Fair is fair, eh?

I'm guess fair isn't what you're interested in though. Am I right?

I can tell you two things before I log on (log on SA). If its 8pm CST and there are only 380 players logged on instead of 580+, its either night or Big Isle :) If less than 380, its night AND Big Isle :D

I thinik HT knows he can't please all the people all the time.

Nighttime is a fairly easy issue to change on his end. So for 6 months he lets the guys who like night on top. Then 6 months later he flips the mattress so to speak. Gives the no nighters a chance on top.

Whines are like antimatter to someone who creates like HT.  They suck the life & enjoyment out of what he's done.

Since the night is an issue that can never be resolved, the least whine solution is switch it every so often.

Not too often as that would cause more whines.
