Heard alot of blues players.
But for me anyway SRV had a tone and soulfullness to him that we will never see again im afraid.

You can go visit him anytime you want, you live very close to his grave.  I've made the drive from Houston twice.  Go pay your respects to him, you'll be glad you did...if you haven't already.

Buddy Guy has been around since the early sixties I believe and is phenomonal.  Especially when he gets out of tune.

I believe SRV was quoted as saying, "Nobody get's out of tune like Buddy Guy, but in a good way."

Yep I have been to his grave.
And plane on going October 3rd on what would have been his 50th birthday.
I think there are some events planed for that day.
