Terrorists Endorse Bush!

Just to show how stupid an unsolicited endorsement looks in the subject line.

WE WANT BUSH TO WIN

The statement said it supported President Bush (news - web sites) in his reelection campaign, and would prefer him to win in November rather than the Democratic candidate John Kerry (news - web sites), as it was not possible to find a leader "more foolish than you (Bush), who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom."

In comments addressed to Bush, the group said:

"Kerry will kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilization."

"Because of this we desire you (Bush) to be elected."

Can't see your link but it sounds real credible to me. Terrorists are gonna tell us what they want in hopes we will grant their wishes, right.

You were right, pretty stupid.

There is actually some wisdom here.  Dems have allways taken the views of the extreme and the minoritys and presented them as "the norm"  Look at almost all of thier issues: gun control, gay marrige, abortion rights, higher taxes ect.  Polls have allways shown that the "majority" does not support these issues yet the dems still push them becuase of their Ideals.

Basically this guy is saying the Dems will "corrupt" arabs and force them away from their religion.

Why is this true?  BECAUSE IT HAS ALLREADY HAPPEND IN THE US!

No guns in your home, all citizens can marry any consenting adult they love, women can decide for themselves what they want with their lives. Those are not extremes, these are the modern principles of western society. You may not agree with these, but calling them extremes can hardly be taken serious.

Taxes btw, how will the Govt. pay for the increases in defense spending the GOP supports so vividly? By lowering them? And the cons attack Kerry on his suspected tendency to tax more while he is also attacked on his refusal to allow all and every defense program conceivable...

1) You proved his point (to him) in the first paragraph.

2) Taxes. Lower taxes lead to greater government revenue in the long run - which is the whole point of having taxes in the first place. Lower taxes encurage production and consumption On the other hand you see high taxes drive up the cost of doing business at every level, which means less production, less profits, which leads to less income, less consumption, and again lower production and so on. High taxes lead to lower revenue in long term because they hurt transacting business and so lead to lower revenues.

I suspect the only ones trying to use reverse psychology there are the democrats. No one (ar least anyone with any kahones) is going to pay any attention to what terrorists want or don't want.

I can only dream that the arabs would forget their crazy religion that drives them to terrorism.

Grun, in light of this story, don't you feel that a vote for Bush is a vote for Al Qaeda?

1) Please elaborate, frivolous oneliners, as convenient they may be, are not an addition to the discussion.

2) I see that you master your economics 101, it is hardly an answer to my post though.

Its pretty simple, I think he would youd consider your answer to be proof of waht he said.

What exactly is your question? How will US pay for defense spending?  Well we know how Kerry has been doing it - by gerrting rid of the defense part and the spending part, at least thats how he seems to have voted. The us military budget is what 370 billion a year or so? Its pretty big ad has always been pretty big, and we manage to pay for it somehow. Right now we are affording it and the tax cutsts with some deficit spending.

And lets be realistic here, its not that keery voted against some famciful "imaginable or conceivable" weapons only. He voted to gut the spending for many central systems, like M1 tank, F15 fighter and AEGIS cruisers/destroyers...  His defense record seems to be taerrible.
