I got to fly this back in 1997 before the FAA stopped the Collings Foundation from selling stick time on the "Nine o' Nine". Needless to say, it was better than sex. The pilot let me have complete control for about 15 minutes and even let me pull a 180 and head back to the field. At first it turned like a truck, but once you got it turning, it came around real nice. I have the whole thing on video too.

They still both tour the country together, although now you can only takes rides in either one, but can't fly them anymore. Still, qutie the experience if you've never taken a ride in a B-17 or B-24.

I think thats a Hornet not a Tomcat...Too bad that lovely A-6 is parked in front of it ;)

Thats a Tomcat..no Hornet ever had the Jolly Rogers Paint since VF-84 (the last Jolly Rogers) and VF-103 (Current) Fly the Tomcat and VF-103 is here at NAS Oceana..not to mention that the shape iof the vertical stabilizers is that of an  F-14 not the F/A-18.
