Many nuke and B-29 threads.  Search them before starting another one.

Yes to B-29s.

No to nukes.

no nukes!!!

no b-29's either, unless you get the stripped down version and have to fly at least 800 miles before the eggs are armed.

think about the following factors:

-what was the blast radius of a nuke?

-How far apart are the bases?

-what can a nuke do that a couple of lancs can't? (as far as porking goes)

What if they allowed an A-Bomb, but only let players blow-up some an un-inhabited island on the map,  to demonstrate it's power?

Then all the others that didn't have the bomb might consider surrendering.

That would be pretty cool.

But seriously, if a country could pool it's resources and work as a team, capture certain bases (and certain number of bases) with needed technology and parts, and eventually be able to aquire one bomb as a country.....that would be cool! Even after getting one bomb, you would have to coordinate a bomber and protect it to deliver the load. Maybe have the highest ranking players online at the time be in control of the bomb.

Think about it.... if it took that much effort to get one bomb, then that one bomb could wipe out a few bases all at once and maybe win a reset, would it be that terrible to have? Remember, the WWII A-Bombs only had a physical devestation radius of maybe 1.5 square miles IIRC.

I think it would probably be a cool thing, but then again I could see it becoming the whole focus of the game also.

-lancs can kill spawns
-killing runway does nothing...
-what would killing tower do?

Um, in the History of mankind, only 2 nukes were ever dropped on enemy targets. Doubt the same ratio would be reflected in the MA.

NO NUKES!!! :aok

never mind that t he 2 dropped on Japan ended the war
So if we get them here, that would mean that the game is over-

That is true only 2 were dropped during war time and they did end the war.  Isn't each map cycle considered it's own war?  Not that I care either way cause I wouldn't be flying bombers.

So your saying people will put that much time and effort into getting a nuke (which most of proburly won't get to see go off, let alone use) that will only be powerful enough to wipe out a field, and the sheep of the surrounding countryside?

Everytime I read one of these threads i keep wondering...

Why?...

Why the hell do I keep reading these stupid threads?!
