Plastic..but some VERY nice detail work.
I got the Donnie Boy P-47. This sucker is huge..about a 2 foot wingspan! :-)

39 bucks or so, I have the original 109, p-51, F4u, P-38, P-47, Spitefire, and huey.


I did not know about these. the 109G and 190D look SWEET

They have a bunch of tanks in the same scale. These are all 1/18, it make them big.

Wal-Mart carries them for $39.  The store near me only has the P-40B in Flying Tigers colors.  They've had the P-47 before and I guess it sold out because there weren't any on the shelves.  

The only plane on there that strikes my fancy is this one:


I'll have to keep my eyes open.

I'm hoping they come out with some version of the P-51 and F4U eventually.

Not models, they come as you see 'em.

I've got the P38 - looks nice... just wish the rocket tubes on the inner wings were detachable.

Yeah, the G6 just looks so.... so.... EVIL!  Its also the plane I've built the most scale models of.  I don't know why I'm attracted to it.  Maybe I'm giving myself to the Dark Side.  I'm trying to love the Spitfire this tour but I just feel so darn good-two-shoes in it.  Its hard to feel The Hate in a Spitfire.
