If he's a noob id suggest talking to him 1st about it and try to come to an agreement .

I had that same problem years ago when i went by just Rosco (there was just to many other Rosco's running around ) so i finally invented Roscoroo which ended up to be totally original .  its Darn hard to get and make an original name for oneself .

AS long as its note someone trying to discredit you as in adding zero's or other similar type letters to the original name its not really offensive

But as in real life there hundreds of people that have the same name.

I kept getting accused of being an imposter when I started a second account using FL0SSY (the O is a zero).  Since joining The SkyKnights I've changed it to SKFlossy, which is a little less obvious on the roster, but still clearly me.  :D

This is a funny thread.  You need to suck it up AKAK.  It would be like me complaining about the 4 or so variations of my name in the game.

Originality: 3 (heard it before)
Tone: 8 (shrill)
Form: 10 (beating up on the noobs)

overall: 7

Not bad, with some more practice you can be a l33t whiner in no time, you have the natural ability.

I can't believe I just wasted 1 minute of my life reading this thread.

Skuzzy, time to add a superfluous filter to this UBB.

Sorry AKAK,

I can't really agree with you there.

There are only so many 'cool' names that can be grabbed by someone for their call sign.

I've had to put up with "0uch" (zero) in WB and Ouch91st and a couple of others in WWIIOL.

As long as the person is not CLAIMING to be you, then its just the luck of the draw.  Bad on you for choosing such a cool sounding name that other people may want just as badly.  :)

In AW (where chaning names was relatively easy, and IIRC it was not controlled by Kesmai??), the dueling for a name thing kinda made sense.  Here, if you really want to protect all possible spellings of your name, you gotta cough up the extra bucks for the accounts.

(Though, I *THINK* that once a name has been used, it's locked forever.  So you COULD start a bunch of 2 week accounts with all variations, and until HTC cleans up the database, they would be locked.)

Anyway, give the guy a chance.  Since his score is so lousy anyway, he obviously isn't someone from around here doing it just to piss you off.  You can ask him to change it, but if he doesn't want too, that's his business.

Ouch out

If someone uses my name, you can bet it's just a cheap knock-off.

I just finished killing specs and along comes this p38.  I remember thinking, this smells like AKAK.  He's way up there and he turns this p38 pretty good, but then he did a dumb bellybutton vertical move and I shot him.

"You shot down ACKACK"  I didn't realize until just now it was not the real AKAK.

I feel ... empty.

This guy should not be allowed to ply the p38.  Its just wrong.
