Pun intended? :D

TW9, I just finished reading that thread,, and then read this one right afterwards.  Found it rather amusing.

So the complaint as I understand it is that a person chose a common military aviation handle that is the same as your bbs handle but different then your game handle. And you want HT to fix this in some way for you......

was ack-ack not available in the game when you started? Why have a diffenent handle. how do you expect this guy to know you like to reserve two handles for yourself.

I think the only fair way to do this is to force you to change your board handle..

I remember when I became old enough to realize my name was Mike, and there were other people out there who said their name was Mike and, even worse, claiming to be Mike, I immediately filed a lawsuit against the hospital, the city, the county, and the state where I was born.....

I didn't get any money, though. Is that fair?

1KON said it best.  Why do we (as people) always asume the worst of others?  This could very well have been, and probably was, an innocent event with no attempt at identity theft involved.  Lighten up!

AKAK I had a guy join AH a few months back as H0ND0 with zeros as the O's. Ofcourse in my instance his name looked identical to mine. I just privated him and politely asked him to change it. He was man enough to do so. He still plays the game and is a really good asset to AH.
