Finally got some time to get back to skinning hobbies, and I've decided to put the B-17 "Memphis Belle" project on hold. I'm sorry to say the glaring wax coat applied to some of the planes, just makes the color look bad - real bad. It may be tolerable with a small P-51D, but ouch, with an aircraft the size of the B-17G..
..
So I've changed the focus to another project I was thinking next - refining the current G-6 default skin a bit so I can correct some mistakes, and take care of the "jagged" lines.
I've spotted some problems with it and they are under fix, but I've noticed that the triangular fuel tab has a 96 octane C3 fuel marker - which seems erroneous.
Should this fuel tab be corrected to the 86 octane B4 marker? I've seen a rather odd version of Hartmann's '43 G-6 with a "B7" tab, which seems a bit strange.
..
Also, if you guys notice any other errors in the G-6, please notify this so I can refine it and try submitting it to HTC for use as a new default skin.
