...for running "North Solomons". I had a lot of fun with it, and I thought it was a better setup even than my own proposed version was.

Appreciate you coming through after you promised it. Hope to see it back in the normal rotation at some point.

In the meantime, ETO this week looks great :)

You know, I thought it was going to be really fun, but for me at least, it got stale really quickly. I spent the whole week playing Naval Gunnery Officer instead of flying.

Enjoyed the Solomons setup as well. Only wish I had been able to spend more time with it, but I appreciate you running it Reschke.

Jester,

When I was clearing customs in Germany and was asked what I needed to declare I said "Bitte alles Zusammen" but they just laughed and said "Nein!" Plus its hard to check kegs of Warsteiner and Spaten at the Lufthansa counter in Munich.

Anyway within our company I am thought of as "Der Amerikaner ist verrückt"; meaning "The American is crazy" because I have been asking them to send us some kegs of Warsteiner for our upcoming cookout. My German grammar isn't quite correct either but the message is still clear.

I'm sure you had a chance to sample a bit while you were there, but even here in the States you can occasionally get your hands on the dark variety of Warsteiner (I think its called durnkel or something to that extent).  They had misstocked it at the local grocery store one time, thinking it was the regular Warsteiner.  Needless to say my roomate and I bought all they had up, and asked them to order another pallet :)

The German side of our company is based in Warstein, Germany and our owner went to school with the two brothers who run Warsteiner now. So in our booth we have several kegs of Warsteiner for free for anyone to drink in our booth.

So when you are at this show in Germany you don't do business without a .25L "tulip" glass of Warsteiner in your hands in our booth there. The dark version isn't as popular in Germany as it is here but the light version is the better of the two over there as well.
