many on this board and others from my personal daily encounters, all talk about the cancelled account, numerous emails, phone calls, etc, and still the bill on the CC reappears ea month. the cure...cancel the card.
WHOA...u say..its my only card!! yes ino, but if u want to prevent an 'EX' from doing u in with charges made on his/her copy of the card that belongs to YOUR account, u best cancell it. but when u talk to ur CC Co, dont ask for it to be cancelled. try this.
when u call ur CC Co, tell them that u feel that ur CC # has been comprimized and u want to be issued a nu account number and have ur exizting number immediatly terminated. u will keep doing business with ur current CC Co, but u get a account #.
when WB tries to charge to ur account AFTER u have told them u no longer wish to do buusiness together via the means the company provides, their request returns rejected.
after i send the cancelation notice, and stop using the game, i wait a period of time so that usage I HAVE already online gets paid, i cancel my CC.
