Anyone seen the video?

Horifying..

Hanging the corpses, on a bridge, they weren't even recognizable as human corpses, looked more like zombie corpses..

Blacken and Charred.

They beat and dragged the corpses through the streat.

And it took the military more then an hour to get in there..

Which I can understand, I wouldn't want to rush into something like that.

I don't think Savages defines them...

I mean if someone invaded my country I wouldn't treat them like that.

Although I'm not sure what exactly I would and wouldn't do if we were invaded, those images really stuck with me after seeing them, especially those of the smiling, exuberant Iraqis cheering on the mutilation of the corpses.

My thoughts are with the families of the killed right now. I don't even want to think about the animals that are responsible for the murders or just enjoyed standing by and watching.

I sincerely hope that Iraq is truly free one day.

Why are the civilian contractors driving around in late model 4x4's? Seems to me you'd stick out like a sore thumb. First thing I'd do is buy some second hand piece of ***** iraqi car to drive around in. Maybe improve your odds a little.

That's a good idea. I'd do that too, I'd just make sure it was mechanically sound so the thing wouldn't tbreak down on me and leave me exposed or stranded somewhere.

I heard about this, at least five of them were civilian contractors.  This reminds me of the movie "Predator" where Arnold finds the skinless bodies hanging in trees.  Sickening.

I haven't read anywhere that the Military got there at all after the event and probably still havent. Just left them to it.

I understand the Whitehouse have requested no western news agencies to show the video footage. As they don't want anyone to be reminded of similar events that happend in Somalia.

Oh wow, I went to school with a guy last semester who had just joined a security company (like the one attacked) that was leaving for Iraq.

The ambush must have caught them by surprise (obviously) because most of these 'contractors' are ex-military and armed with the same weapons as U.S. troops.
