For all those crying "cheat"

Rosco:A short while back on the Dawn of Aces NG we started a top 10 list of reasons of being shot down.

Lol!  I got those printed out now. :0)

Xela,  Not trying to start trouble with you dude.  Its just that when we play these virtual sims we don't get the chance to meet and look people in the eye and shake hands.  The only way we know each other is by our handles and our reputations.  Especially when you carry a squadron designation on your handle you not only have the responsibility of protecting your own reputation but you are representing the reputation of all your squadmates.  So you can see why someone would react to such a thoughtless off-the-cuff accusation on open channel.  So in the future please give it some thought before slinging accusations like that.  I know DJV;  He'd rather knaw off his flying arm rather than engage in cheating.  Anyone who isn't a know-nothing newbie has seen enough packet weirdness on the net to know that warping is not an immediate sign of someone cheating.

So, before hurling a charge like that on open comms in front of 80 other pilots you might stop and ask yourself if cheating is the ONLY possible explanation for what you saw.  If its not, you might give the guy the benefit of the doubt.  Someday, you might be shown the same courtesy.

Regards,
Wab

Ok my last reply.
It's quite easy to cheat and from my flying experience it's a problem, not a serious one yet, but I have no desire to experience again what in WB was for some time common practice with certain squads/pilots. When AH started this problem was not present for me, sure warps, but not those as described. Please watch the 2 films in the zip-file, I used one of the methods not yet described on this board. I did it twice in both, figure out yourself when excatly. As film "offline" shows, this has nothing to do with your connection quality - thx go.. err HTC for gun camera, which I will use more and talk less   You're right wrt benefit of the doubt, but when in a smooth fight a little warp just happens when needed most, what am I supposed to think? I would glady be wrong with my assumption! I understand what you guys are saying, just want to make sure I'm understood too, and lastly I speak just for myslef not for the squad. http://members.xoom.com/iwai/film.html

Argggggggggg.

Can we have one sim where nothing degrades into a slanging match?

WB,AW3, FC/BoB, Janes, MSCFS. DOA. RB1, 11 and 111 etc etc. Same arguements over and over.

Lets keep AH combat related eh?

The first online non whinge Combat Flight Sim is to much to ask for but at least lets come up with some fresh arguements
