Summer is coming and I aint spending it indoors like usually, unless it rains all the time! (This is Finland, how on earth that could happen...?)
I have been flying WB and later AH for 3 years now. I have also written several web pages related to WWII aviation (
www.jg2.org for example) and bought something like 30 - 40 books during that time.
I have also been quietly writing sort of bible or operations manual to Aces High, written from viewpoint of Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe. I havent had time to publish it on the net, hopefully I can do it soon because I think newbies would find it quite useful. I am still trainer (I think?) but I haven't done much online training of newbies except for answering their questions. I guess this bible is my way to help new pilots and earn my keep

I have been quite passionate with this whole hobby and I have mostly enjoyed it immensely. But if you do something for too long you risk for being burned out. I think that is what has been happening to me and some others lately. No matter what sim you fly, it is WWII over and over... I think I need to study other periods and conflicts as well! I know next to nothing about Arab - Israel wars, Falklands, Afganistan... Or the technology they were fought with.
I aint going nowhere, I just take a little break from flying, tanking and reading this board. When evenings get colder and nights longer I will be back again, hopefully to see new planes, tanks and towns and villages!
Have a nice summer guys and see you in the fall!
