well, one issue to work on is the color of the map. eye strain city. but otherwise, ok.

ocean is too pale/bright on map i think.. i had this prob too. otherwise map is great sofar.

Ohh nooooo too many people are actually fighting plane to plane what a horrible thing to happen to our WWII combat sim.

Dont worry strat boy once everyone gets thier fill of furballing for a change, I'm sure you'll see more strat oriented stuff.

It may take more than the first 12 hours tho lolh

that or it's tied for it. then again Il2 isn't MMOG.

i.e. Pizza and BigIsles on one side of the balance and Fester's stuff on the other, not considering scenarios, the CT, H2H FFA etc.

Maybe it should be changed to

since its a game, it ultimately will always be closer to quake than real life.

So I guess that a quote directed to a FLIGHT SIMULATION based on WWII airplanes isnt a WWII simulator..........well wtf guess I signed up for the wrong one then. maybe I should just play WWII online. Funny how I never saw BF1942 or Castle Wolfenstein or any other WWII based game claim that they were a SIMULATION, well we all know that would be BS b/c they are so gamey that they couldnt possibly call themselves a SIM. The simple fact is that until AH2 TOD comes out AH has become nothing short of a fragfest and is no longer the simulation it claims to be. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy the game at times but it is nowhere near where it used to be. In 3 years nothing has been done to enhance the gameplay experience and lord only knows how long it will be until AH2 TOD comes out.

Correct. It is, in fact, not a World War II simulator. Rather, it is an air combat simulator using World War II aircraft.

I'm glad you were able to clear up this distinction for yourself in this thread.
