I know how much you love Russian aircraft. I figured once you read this you would have a reply.

Actually I like the YAK-9! In fact, I like all WWII aircraft, so any HTC puts in the game is fine with me.

Gotta be the A-26 (or was it the F-26?) Invader. You wanta see a porked game, just put that baby in. Good bomb load, too fast to catch, manuevers like a fighter, and, if they're stupid enough to put the gun nose in it, kills anything unfortunate enough to find itself at 12 o'clock.

Toss in the 4x50 turret guns, and kiss your suspension of disbelief goodbye. You'll never see another type of medium buff in the arena once the A-26 shows up (at least not without an RPS you won't).

B-26, A-20, He-111, all good choices. A-26? Just say no.

The A26 is the only ground pounder worth having...only plane that can haul em in and fight out by itself. I'm sure it's miss modeled in AW but is a blast to dogfight. In AH with those 14 .50's it would be the king of HO's...course if you add the autosych for the top turret it would be 16 .50's

I happen to like P-38, at least in WB, but when I said I woulnd't mind to have it in AH, I was thinking game balance in AH generally.. (do we want some second US civil war simulation?

I feel that one criteria for excluding AC would be low production numbers- in other words if only 200 or so were built they were not really used in WW2 to any extent. Case in point-Heinkel 100D. Only 25 were built mostly for propaganda purposes and those that flew were used to "guard" the Heinkel factory. Next the DO 335- yes it has the appearence of being a hot plane but only 37 were ever built and there is no record of actual combat. I would also leave the jets out-I think they would only mess up the game.

It has dorniers tail with weird raised stabilizers and blenheim IVs nose, Fw200's cockpit and middle fuselage and wings..
but it flies...
