So I get over an enemy base to drop bombs on a hanger. I look down and I see ALL la7's except for 2 planes (an la5 and a 109).

I'm not talking about figuratively there were a lot of la7's. I mean literally.

I expect this going into a rook base, but not a bishop base. Cmon guys.

Learn to accept it. La7s are a great base defense tool.

I recommend that, prior to traveling over in a buff to pork a base, you call ahead and give instructions as to which aircraft type you would prefer to be intercepted by. We are afterall, not mind readers. I myself would be more than happy to accomodate your choice.

Get off your knit perch. The knits are no different from anyone else, lasersailor. I remember several sorties (from March 4th) when the rooks had a CV not far from a knit base. And the knits flew nothing but Spits and LA7s. Fortunately, I kept the film...

... and people wonder why I don't get excited about new planes being added to the planeset. This game will always be a "grab the best plane for the job" game - until maybe AH2/TOD comes out. It will always be P51/LA7/Spit.

As for making this thread a complaint against one particular side, my considered opinion is... bollocks. There is NO difference between the sides. Some sides might have a few more missun leaders - is all. The evidence is shown above.

LOL! Beetle.. you need to stop being such a *****. You do realize you're whining about what people are launching at a field that's being vulched while you're flying a perk plane don't you?

The same goes for the author of the thread. You don't like what you're seeing down on the deck at an enemy field, don't fly over an enemy field. The fact that defense in AH is always a response to an attack that has already hapened means the defenders are going to look for any advantage possible.

No, they weren't being vulched or anything. I only saw one friendly within tag range. But he was being chased by the other half of the La7's.
