Woo... nice to see the P38 in it's glory, some fine mover!  Will that mean almost everyone will be flying this?  lol

What I would like to know if there are plans to have any Hurricane versions.  I knew of the 8 x .303, 2 x 20mm/4 x .303 versions, but I only just read about the 12(!) x .303 version (IIC?) and the 2 x 40mm(!)/2 x .303 Mk IID.  The later Mks had that option too.

I really think the Mosquito is a must as with a Ju-52 and Ju 88.  Would love to see a later Griffon engined Spit or a late Tempest too.

Also, as there had been some talk on the tanks being available, can you clarify that these will be drivable??

Fun times always...

Hi Nexx,

Well, unfortunately I don't think we'll see a Hurricane in the arena very soon. It seems that we're going to get a mostly mid-late war planeset for the time being. I'm sure that later on down the road the Hurri will make it's presence felt.

As for the JU-52 and JU-88, the JU-88 will probably appear sooner than the JU-52. IMHO, HTC could really pull a nice coup by introducing the HE-111 first, instead of the JU-88.

I have no inside information, this is just my 2 cents worth.

Well,
with the 109F-4, the new Spit MkVb and the incoming Macchi C.202 we'll be back right into 1941. With a medium axis bomber we could play Malta.

AFAIK, they are working on the 190A-4/5, the Tiffy and maybe the Lancaster.

I'd like to see an early RPS but looks like HTC is doing another thing. I'm sure they are planning something like an RPS. If not, I'm afraid the F4, the MkV and the C.202 will be soon cinderella fighters.
"And one of the finest aircraft I ever flew was the Macchi C.205. Oh, beautiful. And here you had the perfect combination of italian styling and german engineering .... it really was a delight to fly ... and we did tests on it and were most impressed." - Captain Eric Brown

The 109F4 seems somewhat competitive in this arena (due to its climb, mainly). The Spit V (based on what little I have flown it) is going to have a tougher go of it. If the bad guy refuses to turn with you, it is going to be hard to do anything at all. I will fly it more and see, but the arena certainly won't be flooded with Spit V's this time around...

We'll see about the c202.

I'll fly all 3 of course, but I won't be looking for any company.   Guy asked me the other day in the TA "Why do you fly that (109F4 against the Spit IX)?" I guess I like the challenge!

As more variants come out, it would be great to see something like "early planeset day"  maybe once a week.  With some kind of interactive poll to make it work.

Just a thought
