Bush or Kerry?

This is the poorest choice for President since ...er ....since ....Polk whupped What's-his-name!

Bush squandered a great big pile of good will and money, Kerry is about as exciting as watching Catholic church bingo.

Frankly I'm torn... go figure.

Let me preface this thread with a big, keep it civil.  And yes, it is a pre-emptive strike.

Actually Cobra, Clinton screwed up the economy.

Bush has been bringing it back.

No offense, but ignore the democrats on this issue.

According to them, the unemployment rate is something like 30.4%.

So ......

Since you have said repeatedly that you "held your nose" and chose Bush, and by your above statement you are saying Kerry is better than Gore...... You are gonna vote Kerry?

Welcome to the new world order. Presidential candidates are all lukewarm buckets of jello. The conservatives drift left. The liberals drift right.

Kerry is a perfect example of the Media running this country.

Frankly he was at the bottom of the list IMO.  Would have picked any of the others first.

Yet the Media saw to it that Kerry is geting the nod.

They win either way.

Think about it.

Ever hear of a post turtle?

While suturing a laceration on the hand of a 70-year-old Massachusetts business Tycoon (whose hand had been caught in a fence while working at his country home), a doctor and the old man were talking about Senator John Kerry possibly being in the White House one day. The old Tycoon said, "Well, ya know, Kerry is a 'post turtle'."

Not knowing what the old man meant, the doctor asked him what a post turtle was. The old man said, "When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a post turtle."

The old man saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain, "You know he didn't get there by himself, he doesn't belong there, he can't get anything done while he's up there, and you just want to help the poor stupid idiot to get down.
