This is a reproducible bug and locks up game until with trial and error you can get out of it.
Go to hanger, left mouse and hold click on enlarge. Clipboard will blow up in size until with ghost clipboard flashing. you can't go anywhere until you get out of it as only way out is via clipboard which is now unusable.
No problem in tower so maybe due to the pull-out page that is there in the hanger
