« on: March 29, 2000, 01:54:00 AM »
Woke up pretty weak this morning (We had a few Drink yesterday as my girlfriend passed her "Viva" In Oxford & is now a Doctor in Medical Sciences....)

Was walking to the office this morning, already thinking about some AS500 tricky stuff that I am facing this week when I saw a friend's car Stop by the side of the road & honk his horn...Since it's raining I say to myself "Cool, a ride to the office...". I step in the car, close the door & turn aroud to say hello to my Mate........................A nd I see a TOTAL stranger looking at me with a Baffled look on his face (Mine was not bad as well....).....
Saw<----Err, sorry, I thought this was a mate....
Stranger<----LOL ! No problem Mate, It's the morning, I understand !.....

I left the car & walked to the office laughing my Ar***e off for a few minutes.....

If you would've been in the US Saintaw, the driver would have just figured you were carjacking them.

My uncle and I went to a supply store.Upon leaving the store we get to the car, uncle puts key in and opens the door, we both get in and buckle up.I start scratch'n my head thinking this looks different. My uncle is having a hardtime getting ignition key into column, as I look over my should at a car that is few spaces over and say "hey isn't that your call uncle Archie".

DOH!

I came into my dorm last month with an armful of groceries.  I had my head down and was fishing for my keys.  I got to the door and tried to unlock it while juggling the groceries.

The key wouldn't work!  I spent about 30 seconds jiggling the key and cursing under my breath, making quite a racket.

I was about to give up when a very confused asian man opened the door.  I was on the wrong floor!

-------> Ended up explaining this to the Police that sure didn't find this entertaining...

LOL Saw! Good story!

Last year in Fresno California (well known for car jacking, and I kept my .45 under my seat) had a story in the editorial that you all will enjoy.

An elderly woman walked out of the local mall at about dusk to find a stranger trying to open her car door. She whipped out her .38 and screamed at him to get away. He dropped his bag and ran from the scene. She put away her pistol, kicked his bag away from her car and tried to open the door. Her key would not work and it was then she noticed her car (which looked like the one she was trying to open) parked two spaces away. Feeling silly she went to her car, put away her packages and started her car. Only a minute later as she was pulling out of the large parking lot a Police Officer stopped her and asked if she was all right. She said "Yes officer I am fine". "Why do you ask"?
He replied "Oh nothing to worry about mam, just a car jacking attempt that took place a few minutes ago".
Turning red she said "Well I hope you catch him". She drove away.

And your right about Texas, just ask texdog one of my squadies.

Saw,

I know what you mean.  I was on the way in to work this morning and saw a Mac truck coming at me when I tried to pull up and roll to avoid a HO.  Took me a while to get myself back under control, but I did survive the merge.  All the while, I was watching that trainer flying over the Air Force Academy trying not to let him get behind my 3-9 line.

I think I won't fly tonight!
