Happy Easter!!

Always reminds me of when I was young. After morning activities, my mom would give my brother and I five dollars to go to Revere Beach(a stone's throw from my house). We would hook up with our friends and make an afternoon of it. They still had some rides back then, like the bumper cars, tilt-a-whirl, and  round-up. There were a few arcades also, not to mention the great pizza, like Anna's, Bill Ashes and Bianci's. Everyone had on their sunday best, and everyone was so polite and friendly. On those sundays, it was a perfect world.

(and I still say he wasn't trying to spell possum!)

Happy Easter!
Wife and I just finished up filling two buckets full of little do-hickeys, eggs, chocolate and some dollar bills as the Easter Bunny has hit the household one more year! Kids will be tickled I'm sure.

Happy Easter everyone.

I would be satisfied if the bulletin board was a little more peaceful.  One step at a time....

yes....he has risen...

on a lighter note...my wife woke up early to hide easter eggs out back so our two children can do the 2nd anual easter egg hunt.  She woke the kids up gave them a bath got them dressed and went out to find that our dog (the lazyest hungriest dog i've ever met) ate every last one of them! :rofl

my wife was not too happy.

Happy Easter all.

Gnslngr...keep your eye on that pooch.  Chocolate is poison for dogs.  I doubt he/she ate enough to have a serious medical problem, but hershey squirts all over the house is no fun at all.

In short, Easter is not a corruption of a biblical holiday.  It is an utterly pagan holiday with a little bit of Christian window dressing.  Even the name of the holiday and its date are based entirely upon pagan traditions.  Perhaps we would do well to bear in mind what happened to the Israelites as a result of their observance of pagan rites.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

You guys really believe that Easter myth? You bunch of supersticious tools. Rabbits give live birth, they don't lay eggs. And if they did they'd be much smaller cause its sphincter is way too small to pass such a large egg. Do a Google on Rabbit Sphincters and look for yourself.  And even if it were physically possible for a rabbit to pass an egg it wouldn't come out all painted and decorated like that.  It'd have crap on it.

I don't know who puts those eggs out in the yard but it ain't no damn rabbit.
