I played golf with my brother once, but it was more to drink and lose golf balls.

lol, not the golf fan myself, but I actually saw some exciting golf. And it wasn't constant tiger stroking for a change. Now that I think of it, I didn't see him?

Whats your handicaps...

I had a 0.2 index when I quit competitive play.  My swing is in a state of disrepair and neglect, but I suspect I am a 6 or better now thanks to a short game that has always been there.

Where ya play at....

Heritage Lakes Golf Club.  Hilliard, OH
Favorite course was Pinehurst #2 for two rounds during the 2000 Nike Winternational Junior Golf Tour, where I played my last junior round of competitive golf.

What kind of equipment ya playing with...

8º Great Big Bertha/X-Stiff UST shaft
Titleist 14.5 PT 3 wood
Callaway 7 "Heaven" wood (only 6'0 tall and can't hit a 3 iron for shiznit)
Titleist 962, True Temper Dynacore steel shafts, Stiff.
Titleist Vokey 56º Sand Wedge
Cleveland 60º Lob Wedge, Chrome non-rust
Odyssey White Hot #1 putter, 32"
Golf Pride Tour-Wrap Cord grips on everything but the putter, it is a Winn Zebra.

For the longest time I played the black-box strata ML Balata.  I bought out my proshop's supply when I quit as a senior in high school (2 gross, which is 2 dozen dozens i think?) that cost me a month's pay and now have only 1 dozen left.  I suspect I'll return to Titleist Professional 90 or try out the Pro V1's when I exhaust my supply.

This has been in the same Hoofer bag since high school, I have no reason to change.  Though now I do alternate drivers to a Taylor Made because its a world of difference in technology just from my GBB (which nobody else uses nowadays I've noticed)

Best Score ever for 18 holes...

64, Champions of Columbus, Turnberry CC and the C.C. at Muirfield (Not Muirfield Village, where the Memorial is played, best there is 70...UGH!)

Hole in Ones or not...

I have ended up within a foot maybe a dozen times.  Most memorable shot was a short par 3 from elevated tee.  160 yds, Sand wedge landed about 6 feet long took one skip and spun back and touched flagstick and bounced exactly back to the direction from which it came to about 3"

Holed out from the fairway enough times that I dont have an accurate count, maybe a dozen as well

Favorite Player on Tour... Male / Female / Senior

Fred Couples, Payne Stewart and Paul Azinger are the 3 most class acts I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.  Annika for the LPGA.  Jack and Arnold (I had tears in my eyes Friday) by default, but I am a fan of Craig Stadler.

Favorite Tournament to watch....

Memorial because I have clubhouse passes, and the U.S. Open.

Isnt he a riot?  ;)

Had a local celebrity tourney here years ago at the club I used to work at and he was playing with Manute Boll (sp?), a 7 ft-ish basketball player that used to play with the Sixers.

I was caddying for another guy in the group and could barely contain myself from laughing the entire time.

Manute (sp?) was wearing what amounted to a pink leisure suit and Craig says to him "Well... at least you match."  Which was closely followed by "If you were a little bit taller I'd give you **** for that too."

:D

Anytime I'm in need of a 4 letter word in polite company that can addiquately describe my frustration, anger, & dislike the swear work of choice always comes up the same.

GOLF

There is no 4 letter swear word that golf can not substitite for, it improves most of them.

In Return of the King what gollum was REALLY saying was not "gollum gollum"

It was "Golfersgolfers" Knowing that the hobbits were already playing the game.

Be Warned, its insidiious, dangerous, and can sereriously errode your morals.

BTW congrats to Phill on the Win, was 2 AWESOME puts and a nice hole in 1.
