Not enough to give the designer a new job..... i would think someone else would also have to aprove the final design... I mean...someone else within BMW must have seen the car before it went into mass production.

Anyways..the new design is prolly just unusual and you may or may not like it when you have gotten used to it.

Ripsnort....thanks for posting the pics.

6 Series looks great to me...course that's mo.

I didn't buy that new Z4.......drove it...nice handling but little if any performance boost over my Z3.  Upon further review, my Z3 is a better looking car then the Z4...of  course again that's just MO.

What I did see while driving by though....in the lot was a just recently arrive M5!  A larger clone of the Z3.  Did not have the time as of yet to stop in and get the particulars.  But it definately has piqued my intrest.  Don't think it's a 2004......looks like a 2000.

You can't go wrong with an older 5 series (540i) or M5, Hajo. I'd definately go that route.

Thats what I'm going to have my wife test drive next spring.  We were planning on doing a EU for a 5'er, but the style has fallen out of grace with her.  She likes the older 5'ers, so we'll test drive the 540's and M5's.  She loves her current Explorer and its been dependable, so who knows, she may even change her mind in spring 2005.

Ooops, sorry, ED...European Delivery, knocks about $3000 off the price, thus paying for a European vacation while you take delivery. They give you 30 days worth of free insurance to boot while your driving your new car in Europe.  Then when you return home, you just drop the car off at one of 11 ports that you have optioned for shipment back home.
