I thought the quote read "98% of the union members", not just the union itself.

Wouldn't this imply that 98% of the machinists at Boeing aren't happy with Ripsnort's Republican management philosophy?

Umm, my experience with the Unions has been that most of the members play "follow the leader" . That's why its always so fun to debate them, since once their buddies arent around, they quickly run out of "sound byte" ammo.

Most will beleive only what their union reps tell them. Some will actually research all the data themselves and form an opinion.

So let me guess what they want. More something something. And tucked in there will be "We Deserve..."

Edit: Eek! Even Rip agress! Point is everyone faults businesses for going overseas where its cheaper to produce...since Americans want inexpensive products. You want that product for $1 or $5? $1? Well guess how they can afford to make it so cheaply? There ya go! Put your thinking cap on!

I thought jobs went overseas to take advantage of not having to pay taxes from overseas subsidiary income.
