I just logged off after 2 missions in the MA tonight on Batic map.
Anyway, my squad flew 2 missions and both times, the bombs we dropped did not detonate on impact....or at all for that matter.

The bases we attacked were A45 and A43.

We released at 4-5k AGL. Both times, we were flying P-51Ds and carrying 1000 lbers.

Anyone know whats going on?

This is pretty annoying.

About half the squad that was on, so about 6 planes on each mission...It happened to me 2X.

Odd. same thing happened to me with rockets last night at I beleive A45.
6 rockets no hits.
I RARELY miss with 1 rocket.
I NEVER miss with all six

I've had it happen to me a couple of times recently. I thought maybe I was too low and the bombs didn't have time to arm or something.

It can't be packet loss, but has anyone ever seen this when not in a mission?

Wasnt in a posted mission. Was just flying with my squadmates.
Might even have it on film. Im not sure I'll have to check to see if I had my Cam on for that flight

I was just flying around by myself, can't remember where I was at.

The reason I remember is that I was about 1500 ft off the ground in a group of Lancs and I thought I might blow myself up so I was waiting for that to happen.

I never heard the bombs go off, so I circled back around to see if there were craters and there were none. They all dropped as I had salvo set at 14 and delay at .5.

The same thing happened to me in a 190 f8 a few days ago on the OzKansas map. I dropped all of my bombs at around 2500-2000 feet on a VH. Then nothing, no impact craters, or sound of detonation.

I have never seen this EVER... I run jabo all of the time. Nearly ever day.

There are one of two reasons that I can think of why the bombs had no effect...

The bombs where dropped too low...

The players loaded DT's rather than Bombs in the hanger...
