Rudder over responsive
« on: October 02, 1999, 12:10:00 AM »
I use a CH fighterstick, pro throttle and pro rudders.  Even with the rudder sensitivity turned all the way down, I get an extreme amount of lateral bouncing.  Even very slight rudder movement creates bounce. Any suggestions?

The yaw oscillations happen because the yaw modes have low damping compared to pitch and roll.  This is a feature of just about any aircraft, especially those that are very short and have small vertical stabilizers designed to minimize drag and weight.
