I am making the plans now.

Where is a nice town to stay in nearby?

Is Lancaster local enough?

6 aircraft in that list make it worth the effort. The rest are gravy.

(1) CAF- Tuskegee Airman Red Tail P51C

(2) CAF – B-29 “Fifi”

(3) CAF – B-24 “Diamond Lil”

(4) YAF – B-25D “Yankee Warrior”

(5) Hawker Hurricane

(6) Planes of Fame Lockheed P-38

All 6 of these are "only flying model" or "one of less than a handful" flying in the US (if not the world).

I definitely expect pics of these 6.

Lancaster is about 20 miles away from Reading, so yea it'll be local enough. Might want to try one of the local hotels in Wyomissing first though (Sheraton, Country Inn and Suites, Econo Lodge just to name a few)

Actually, here is a list of a lot of hotels within 10 miles of the MAAM.

I've been inside the Yankee Lady B17, At the Pittsburgh Air National Guard Field, in 2001.

But I'm planning on attending!

I'll be there also. 2 years ago there was a Yak but I've never seen an LA-7 there.

Hopefully there will be better weather than last year.
